President
Aaron Ingold brings more than 25 years of education technology experience in the areas of math, science, assistive technology, and literacy to ExploreK12. He is a leader focusing on organizational and employee role clarity, business forecasting, measurable results, and impactful experiences for students, teachers, and school administrators. As President of ExploreK12, Aaron works to ensure the company’s essential solutions inspire curiosity, deepen comprehension, and instill the joy of learning for all K-12 students.
David Shuster
Senior Advisor, Innovation
Dr. David Shuster, founder of ExploreLearning and a former classroom educator, brings almost 30 years of leadership experience to ExploreK12. Driven by the belief that every child can succeed, he has dedicated his career to pioneering new approaches to some of the most important challenges in math and science learning — programs that deliver real gains, build lasting confidence, and make the work of teaching and learning genuinely fun. As Senior Advisor, Dave continues to guide innovation and the strategic evolution of ExploreK12's solutions.
Seija Surr
Senior Vice President, Product Strategy
Seija Surr has dedicated her career to crafting learning experiences that ignite curiosity and foster understanding. She started her career as a classroom teacher and has worked with talented teams across an array of EdTech organizations for over 30 years. She’s helped build products for a range of market segments – from High School science textbooks to adaptive solutions for PreK. With extensive experience in curriculum and product development, strategy, and team-building, Seija brings a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and leadership to the team.

Senior Vice President, Sales
Jeffrey Vincent brings more than 20 years of experience across the PreK–12 education market, including literacy, math, assessment, and professional learning. As Senior Vice President of Sales, he is driven by a deep belief in the power of great educators and the impact of meaningful learning tools. Jeffrey is passionate about developing high‑performing, customer‑focused teams and leads with a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset to help educators and students succeed.
Laura Chervenak
Vice President, Customer Success
Laura Chervenak brings more than 25 years of experience in classroom instruction, professional learning, and curriculum leadership to ExploreK12. She is a strategic leader focused on successful customer implementations, educator impact, and measurable outcomes for teaching and learning. As Vice President of Customer Success, Laura partners with districts nationwide to ensure ExploreK12’s solutions drive effective instruction, sustained adoption, and meaningful student achievement.
Eron Cummings
Vice President, Engineering
Eron Cummings leads the vision, strategy, and delivery of ExploreK12’s technology platforms and digital products. With over 20 years of experience in education technology, he is known for transforming engineering organizations through modern practices, including agile delivery, DevSecOps, and scalable cloud-based architectures. A hands-on, solutions-oriented leader, Eron builds alignment from executive leadership to engineering teams, driving adoption of new technologies and delivering measurable business impact. His focus is on advancing AI-driven and cloud-native solutions that enhance learning experiences for educators and students.
Kari Fines
Vice President, Operations
Kari Fines brings more than 18 years of experience in education technology across operations, customer experience, and business transformation. She is a strategic leader focused on operational excellence, scalable growth, and measurable results. Kari is passionate about building high-performing teams, streamlining complex processes, and creating exceptional experiences for employees, educators, and customers. Through a collaborative and solutions-oriented leadership style, she helps drive innovation and lasting impact across the organization.
Joe Mahon
Vice President, Finance
Joe Mahon is a strategic leader dedicated to fostering a financially sound organization that can serve the immediate and long-term needs of teachers and students. He is passionate about modernizing and scaling financial and operational processes, and believes success comes from great people leveraging the right tools. Joe leads by aligning financial planning with mission and growth objectives and uses business and operational data to guide priorities. He brings 20+ years of experience in finance and operations, including more than a decade in EdTech.

Vice President, Data and Analytics
David Rudel has spent 20 years helping students, products, and teams thrive in EdTech as a teacher, science author, mathematical modeler, adaptive AI engineer, and data leader. He champions the idea that strong data teams, like strong engineering teams, create the systems and structure that drive efficiency, insight, and impact. As VP of Data and Analytics, David brings analytical rigor, curiosity, and operational leadership to the team.
Tammy Weisman
Vice President, Marketing
Tammy Weisman brings nearly 30 years of experience in K–12 education technology to ExploreK12. She leads brand and go‑to‑market marketing, building teams and strategies that use data, technology, customer insights, and close collaboration to drive clear positioning and strong execution. As Vice President of Marketing, Tammy works across the organization to align strategies that generate awareness, growth, and meaningful adoption in schools.
